Monopoly tournament 2022

Some games are easy and ment for low brain activity and plenty of fellowship.  Monopoly is not one of them.

And the winner is, Nancy

It's usually the sleepers that surprise you.  Most women are relationship oriented but these women are aggressive with only one thing in mind

Falling in Love, the Sequel 8/7/21

First we did the gathering, falling in love. The conversation was so good, we had to do it again. In the first we took an anonymous survey and the questions were, what constitutes a date? do you have a list? how soon would you date etc. Unbelievable answers. So at this event we continued the discussion. The food was overwhelming with 19 of us bringing great food followed up with praise and then the discussion. so so cool. I was impressed. then of course we followed it up with dancing.

Next month, intimacy, how to develope it and how to maintain it. Wait till you see the next about Christian sexuality.

Volleyball, Lunch, Praise and worship and Dance Saturday May the 22nd is history. what a great time

We started off with some Poo volleyball for the athletic. A great time to cool off an fight. A blast for sure.

We followed that with food and fellowship, laughs while we played Taboo. This is where in conversation, you try to get the other person to say the taboo word "NO". Each person had a safety pin clipped onto their collar. If you got them to say no, you took their pinand hooked it to yours. It was not long till Sal Had most of the clips in a long train. LET THE GAMES BEGIN.

With plenty of good food, pretty Girls and great atmosphere it was easy to let your gaurd down and lose your pins.

After some love songs, worship songs and conversation, we moved the furniture and the dancing began. 40's and 50's, Jewish dancing and Salsa. We have a few really good dancers.

And the winner is!!! After many reversals, Valerie was able to take the pins fron Sal who took all the pins from Eric who stole the pins from Sal. Each time the roas went up because they had stumped Sal. The sleepers were the women who seemed quiet and harmless like Valerie. Once she stole the oins and roared with a victory dance only to lose them back to Sal who later stole them back. At one point so as to not lose her pins, she would say yes to everything for fear she would lose the pins. Sal asked her many questions to get her to say no. Kiss me? Yes. will you marry me? Yes. (I have witneses, we are now getting married) only to lose them to Sal again but at the end she won them all and gloated below right. But as we know, pride comes before the fall and at the very last minute, The harmless one, Richard won the pins and you can see the last hand off. KING RICHARD.

The following is from the pool volleyball on 4/22/21

We had a great time. The food as always was great and more than we could eat but the conversation was by far the main event. One of our new guests opened up and shared his heart. I was impressed and that opened e.veryone else up and there was no shortage of tears and laughter. Then came the volleyball. the weather was great. It was so good we decided to do it again on May the 22nd. Look for that event

The Mating Game Valentines Event

As usual we had some great food and fellowship. When entering everyone received a safety pin they pined on their shirt and were told what the tabu word was and were told if they could get someone to say the word, they would win their pins. So people were milling around enjoying the conversation unaware some were stethaly trying to steal their pin. Some of the more aggressive people (Sal!) started accumulating pins and wearing them as a badge of honor.

Then the Matting Game started. We did three rounds with 3 prospects in each round and a contestant in another room asking questions of all three. Some answers were lame (they aint gonna find a date any time soon). Some were gut splitting funny. Each prospect disguised their voice. That was funny in itself. Ever her a suthern accent from a New Yorker? And some were very deep.

We then did some heart felt Praise and Worship. Sal & Noe played and the music and testimonies were soooo good. The whole time throughout the night, people were stealing pins and sal had them all. Then, the quite, masked Dina who was so timed and shy throughout the night, as a Damsel in distress, timidly asked Sal a question. She was so sincere. He answered her and then a big smile broke out on her face as she held out her hand, pointing to the string of safety pins Sal had on his chest. With only one attempt, she became the champion of the pins. That was so fun, we will do that one again. It's not the first time I've been stung by a pretty woman@#%$^^&%$%#$

The best part was that some opened their heart and connected with others because the truth is most if not all of us are hurting, lonely and in need of laughter, companionship and acceptance. That was accomplished. The night was given to God and he came through.

Christmas at Peggy's 2020

There is nothing like getting together with good friends during the holidays. Exchanging gifts, celebrating the birth of the king. It's like time stops and we enter into a mystical time. We had some great food and plenty of it, then great conversation and the dirty Santa Game. What a blast.

The saying is true, laughter is good medicine. We also had some Great music. Pastor Jerry from good news fellowship and his wife, Judy brought some great music. If you missed it, you missed it.

Gun Range and Work shop November 1st

If you call the Florida Firearm Academy, you will most likely get their recorded message. "The World has gone crazy, we don't have time to answer the phone". People are getting scarred and prepared. Myself, Noe, Dana, Richard, Doris and of Course the firearm guru Sal pup. My nick name for Sal Jr. Doris was great, first time ever and right on the bullseye. Richard is almost buffalo bill now. Noe is an old salt and great shot. Dana did well but was not feeling well and cut it short. I tried my new guns. One shot from my short Shotgun and sprained my hand with the kick back, Sal Pup tried my shotgun And his hand went limp. Dana wanted Salpup to try her shotgun but he did not want to further hurt himself. However after Annie Oakley called him a wimp if he wouldn't shoot it, he did.

So then we went out for lunch. We ordered comfort food and three Ice packs for swollen hands. After a lot of laughs and food we made it to Eric's house where we worked on our guns. Since the expert was not there (Salpup) I took over. The beauty of it is, I have no clue, but all we need to know to help others, is a little more than they know. So I charged everyone $30 bucks for the instruction. (Stop, I'm kidding) Because wil Salpup gone, I was the expert. The definition of an expert is "a drip under pressure" (you'll get that later).

I am so proud of the people who have really taken things seriously. Dana is amazing what she has done in short order, Right behind her is Eric. I am so impressed. Richard, in the three events we had has come a long way. Doris in her first time was amazing.

I'm in a weight loss contest so I kept it light. Doris helped out, she ate a few of my fries. Hey, off my back I weighed in this morning and I have another week before My next weigh in.

We retreated to chilies

How did I get them to learn so well?

Salsa Gathering 11/31

If you did not make this event, you missed a great time. The food was tremendous, lazagna, Wings, sausage & peppers, mashed potatoes, Salads and deserts to die for. Food was great but the conversations were even better while the 14 of us laughed and danced the night away. After an impromtu message from Sal (he couldn't help himself while doing announcements, We had testimonies and even had a translator (Elizabeth, who did a wonderful job). It is 1:30 AM while I'm writing this. I learned so much about dancing. I danced all night. What a work out. I am so soar. I used muscles I have not used in years. We'll definitely do this again.

After it was over, I figured out why I was having such a hard time. Eric said I looked like I was in the drug cartel. I was scaring everyone. Ah so next time, I'm gonna get a tight girdle to suck it in, like those spanish con questadora and some high heels. That should do it.

The September Gathering October 3rd 2020

We starte off as we usually do, alot of great food. A glass of wine and alot of laughs and conversations. It flowed naturally.

This was one of the liveliest session we have had. No one felt hindred and evey single person contributed. Why? Because every "single" one of us thinks about this subject. How do we choose the right person to get into a relationship with. How do we encourage the relationship to start and if it clicks, what do we have to do to keep the romance hot.

You can tell from the looks on the faces everyone was engaged and well thought out and plenty of laughs. Some of the coments, and i'm paraphrasing."We need to be selective and know what we want".

We need to take it slow and pay attention to the content of character".

We need to spend quality focust time on our significant other".

We need to care more about them, serving them then what we want out of the relationsip".

The conversation then shifted the subject to how do we have a deep realationship with Christ. Amazing, the same rules apply. Spend large amounts of quality alone time, care more about what is important to him etc.

We topped off the evening with a song. "there was Jesus". It was a sweet time. I so look forward to our gatherings. Sal

D said "Saturday was great. I know you mentioned that the food was scarce because things didn’t go right, well there was enough to go around as well as good conversation and enlightenment on feelings and thoughts on living single and how to show someone that we might be interested in them in this ever fast paced and complicated world we live in today. Meeting new people and sharing the word and love of Christ together IS ALWAYS A GOOD THING!!! Thank you Sir"

C said "It was a very good time...in the presence of the Holy Spirit. When we anticipate how we think things should fall into place, sometimes they don't. Does the outcome depend upon us, or does Divine intervention take place? My opinion was that it was a positive gathering, and there were some aspects that enriched my perspective on life".

The August Gathering 2020

Some of the best things I liked was that everybody chipped in. It was an extremely hard morning for me and I was way behind, forgot to put the ribs in and all the balls were dropping.

First guy came in and started vacuuming, another gal , mopping. One of the guys was sent out for last minute items I did not have time to go to the store for. He would not even take money for the items when he got back.

One of the gals rolled up her sleeves and took over the food issues.

Afterwards, everyone cleaned up, threw out the garbage and took care of almost everything. I thought I would be cleaning till midnight but instead, when everyone left, I had my house back inits original condition.

What a great group or guy's and gal's

As always we started with a lot of great food. Food always makes the gathering of friends feel like family. We then had a few skits about relationships, a short movie clip followed by alot of singing and horsing around. Good clean fun. Talk about a lively bunch. No inabitions here. Good food, good times, Good friends.

The July Gathering 2020

There were two sessions of singing. one in the studio where a few sang along and the other with everyone around the fireplace.

One of the guys, who had not played a guitar in a while stepped right up. I was impressed.

We all gave it the best we had (sometimes off key, like a typical family) and shared from the heart.

What a wonderful gathering.

I SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST

Some come from far away. So we set up a "put and take jar". We started with $25 in small bills. If anyone needed gas money or a few bucks they could take a few. If anyone wanted to contribute, they put in. We did not take an offering (where people feel obligated to give because others are watching). No one knew what anyone was doing. At the end of the night there was $50. We have a generous group of people.

The June Gathering 2020

The food was great and always more than enough. There is something about great fellowship around a great meal. The conversations were great also. One of the best parts was the sharing. If you came from a big family where everyone participates, laughs, jokes, tells stories, gets lost in the story and laughter breaks out, you would love this. But the greatest part was the transparency. People sharing was real. The masques were taken off.

Comments from attendees

WD " I love how you open up your home and make us feel like it is our home. Getting to know everyone little by little and what a solid group we are becoming. I feel blessed to have found a group of fun Christians to share my life with. God Bless all of you, until next time. ;-)

CL "Have to brush up on pool volleyball. Food was delicious. Fellowship is invaluable."

VE " This group makes everyone feel like family. I feel truly blessed to be a part of it!

Love you all! God Bless!"

God will judge us by the intent of our heart, not the image we project. What he sees in private, he will reward openly.
